Smart Display Innovation Program: Startup Call & Cross-Domain Workshop

To promote cross-domain innovation in the smart display industry, the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, has launched the “Smart Display Innovative Application Program,” inviting startups and enterprises to propose innovative application concepts. This program aims to integrate AI, sensing, human-machine interaction, and smart display technologies to develop smart display application prototypes with demonstration and validation potential.

 

Following an open call for applications, expert evaluation, and Demo Pitch review, the review committee conducted a comprehensive assessment based on innovation potential and application development prospects, selecting five outstanding teams.

✨ Selected teams will receive:

✅ R&D funding support: Up to NTD 200,000 in development funding

✅ Industry matchmaking opportunities: Connect with display panel manufacturers, system integrators, and application partners

✅ Technology integration validation: Conduct hardware–software integration testing using domestic display equipment

✅ Industry collaboration opportunities: Enable cross-domain partnerships and application demonstration cases

2️⃣ Mobility & Transportation | Real-time traffic information displays, crowd flow guidance, AI-powered traffic alerts

3️⃣ Healthcare | Waiting and health information displays, non-invasive sensing interaction, care process assistance

4️⃣ Entertainment & Exhibitions | Immersive interactive experiences, AI-generated exhibition content, guided interactive displays
